Alpha Chi Omega’s number one altriusm is the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, which nationally supports the victims of domestic violence. In the fall, Alpha Chi Omega and Delta Tau Delta plan the annual Watermelon Bust Festival, with proceeds going to A Better Way (a local domestic violence shelter in Muncie, IN) and the American Red Cross. In the spring, Alpha Chi and another fraternity plan a Powderpuff Football tournament, with proceeds going to a Better Way and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Various other organizations around campus participate and attend these events, and typically our chapter raises close to $5000 each year.
